Chief Officers Group Europe Ltd are engaged by clients to perform search processes to find suitable individuals for senior roles. Individuals considered or put forward for such roles by us are candidates. We are committed to protecting and safeguarding the personal data we hold.

We may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 25th May 2018.

What we collect

We may collect personal information relating to clients and candidates, including but not limited to name and contact details, relevant information from CVs and publically available profiles such as Linked In and salary details.

What we do with the data we gather

We hold data relating to clients and candidates on the basis of legitimate interests. This is in order that we can:

  • provide services to clients by way of finding potential candidates for required roles;
  • maintain ongoing business relationships;
  • approach potential candidates in relation to opportunities which may be of interest to them.
  • Access relevant information and "IP" to enable us to execute our services to both clients and candidates.

We may share data with clients and candidates to serve the purpose of providing our services. We may use the professional services of third parties for example a printing company to print information to be presented to clients or candidates. We may release personal information to regulatory or law enforcement agencies, if required.

We will retain client and candidate information for the period necessary to fulfill the purpose of providing services to clients and candidates.

We may provide your personal information to clients, potential clients, or to others where we are required to do so by law.

From time to time we may execute services on behalf of clients based outside of the United Kingdom, however in all circumstances Chief Officers Group will operate in accordance with English Law.

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we hold.

Personal information is stored on secure password encrypted systems. We utilize all possible technological safeguards including security software and firewalls to prevent hacking or unauthorized computer access, internal passwords and security policies.

Controlling your personal information

Should a client or candidate instruct us to delete their data from our systems we will do so. You can request to see a copy of the data we hold about you and if requested we will advise you in advance of any charges. We will respond to your request promptly, but in any case within 30 days, unless we advise you to the contrary.

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please email us, or write to us, as soon as possible. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
